Understanding Nifty Range Calculator

The Nifty Range Calculator uses the India VIX (Volatility Index) to estimate the potential trading range for the Nifty 50 index. India VIX represents the market's expectation of volatility over the next 30 calendar days.

How it's calculated:

• Daily Range: (Nifty Price × VIX / 100) / √365
• Weekly Range: (Nifty Price × VIX / 100) / √52
• Monthly Range: (Nifty Price × VIX / 100) / √12

The upper and lower ranges are calculated by adding and subtracting the range from the current Nifty price, representing a 1 standard deviation move (68% probability).
